The Grand Rapids Griffins season is over after a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to the Chicago Wolves, and there are a LOT of questions surrounding how this playoff series ended. The Griffins once again outshot Chicago, this time by a margin of 35-21, but the result was the same. Elimination. Michal Postava was absolutely incredible during the regular season, finishing with a .937 save percentage and a 1.71 goals against average. Even his overall playoff numbers remained respectable at a .912 sv% and a 2.09 GAA. But over the final three games, things changed dramatically. Postava surrendered 10 goals on 60 shots, posting a .857 save percentage and a 3.33 GAA during the stretch. Still, head coach Dan Watson refused to turn to Sebastian Cossa. That decision is going to be heavily debated by Red Wings and Griffins fans throughout the offseason. Cossa and Postava formed one of the best goalie tandems in the AHL this season and were viewed as one of the biggest strengths for Grand Rapids entering t
