It’s a long holiday weekend and the unofficial start of summer, with Memorial Day upon us as the Stanley Cup Playoffs dive deeper into the conference final round. Upsets started each series and the Colorado Avalanche will again be without Cale Makar, so the Vegas Golden Knights have a chance to take a 2-0 series lead on Friday night. Out east, the Montreal Canadiens blew out the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 1, but Saturday’s Game 2 could be a different story of the home side finds its legs after being off for 12 days.
