Crosby becomes Canada’s scoring leader at Olympics featuring NHLers -
Captain Canada added another item to his long list of accolades Sunday at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina. Rimouski Océanic legend Sidney Crosby (PIT) became Canada's all-time scoring leader at NHL Olympics when he recorded his 15th point as part of a 10-2 win over France Sunday. The previous record belonged to fellow CHL alumnus Jarome Iginla. Crosby is a previous two-time Olympic gold medallist (2010 / 2014) and famously scored the overtime winner in Vancouver in 2010 while he captained the 2014 squad. The 38-year-old also captained Canada to gold at the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off tournament and is a member of the exclusive Triple Gold club. Drafted first overall in 2005, he has captained the Pittsburgh Penguins for 19 seasons, winning three Stanley Cups (2009 / 2016 / 2017), two Conn Smythe, two Hart, and two Art Ross trophies, while posting 20 straight point-per-game seasons.
