A panel of 32 accredited OHL media members has weighed in on the 2026-27 season. Each voter submitted a 1-20 ballot, with a first-place vote worth 20 points and descending from there. The average score appears in brackets beside each team. The 2027 Memorial Cup host Guelph Storm open the season atop the rankings, edging the London Knights. OHL Power Rankings will be published weekly on Mondays. 1. Guelph Storm (19.47) The Storm carry the heaviest expectations in the league, and they've earned them. Guelph added Ryan Roobroeck — 99 career goals and counting — and Ethan Czata from Niagara, brought in Owen Griffin from Oshawa over the summer, and kept the group intact around Tyler Hopkins and 20-goal sophomore Carter Stevens. The 6’4” defenseman spent last season with the Florida Alliance 16U AAA program, appearing in 37 games and recording four goals and 20 assists for 24 points. Dvorak also suited up in the T1EHL 16U, where he recorded one goal and three assists for four points in 16 games. Dvorak is ready to use his size and strong frame to make an impact on the Wolves’ blueline this season. He has suited up in all four of Sudbury’s preseason matchups so far, recording one assist. General Manager Rob Papineau had this to say: “Alex has had a great camp. He was a player we selected in this past draft who was a year older than this year’s class. (GREATER SUDBURY, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves have announced several changes to the club’s Hockey Operations staff, including an expanded role for longtime OHL scout Dave Gray, the addition of Wade Conrad to the scouting staff, Zach Hartwick joining the organization as Athletic Therapist, as well as Josh Goddard being promoted to Assistant Equipment Manager. Dave Gray Promoted to Assistant General Manager Dave Gray has been promoted to Assistant General Manager, with his primary responsibilities focused on scouting, player development and free agent acquisitions.
