Elite Prospects names 39 CHL players in 2027 NHL Draft Preseason Top 64 -
A total of 39 CHL players have been named in Elite Prospect's 2027 NHL Draft ranking and players to watch list. The list is led by Everett's Landon DuPont who earlier this summer captained Canada to gold at the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and helped the Silvertips to its first WHL title last season. "At this point, Landon DuPont needs no introduction," wrote Mitchell Brown, Elite Prospect's Head of Scouting and Pro content. "He’s an elite skater with the pace to match, making high-skill plays at a speed very few match. Coupled with his non-stop activation, shifts where he’s not making an impact are a rarity. Defensively, his game arguably shines even more, emphatically winning battles and dislodging pucks before breaking ankles on the exit." Guelph's Jaakko Wycisk is the next highest ranked CHL player at no. 5 after he impressed as a rookie with the Storm a year ago. "A top playmaker in the class and one of its best stickhandlers, Wycisk also boasts the physical skills and the frame ne

How to Follow Blackhawks Prospects During the 2026-27 Season -
It’s the final day of August, which means tomorrow is the first day of the month in which we get real Blackhawks hockey back on the ice! That doesn’t mean hockey all over the world waits for the NHL to open training camps to get rolling, however. While the Blackhawks will have a younger roster at the NHL level again this year, they still have a strong pipeline — and players who will be skating all over the world this season below the professional levels. And the OHL preseason began this weekend! So now feels like a good time to catch up with where the Blackhawks’ prospects are expected to be playing this year. Here are the Blackhawks’ non-professional prospects and where they’ll be playing this coming season. I’ve included links to team website and/or social media handles so you can follow the action. Or, just keep coming here and I’ll have everything for you like we always do.

Korchinski Signed, Chicago Vibes, JR Highlights, and Other Blackhawks Bullets -
Yesterday made me long for Blackhawks hockey to come back even more. Watching Pete Crow-Armstrong hit three home runs and then Zavion Thomas score a 97-yard touchdown on the Bears’ first offensive snap of their preseason game in Nashville had the vibes extremely high. All we needed was a power play goal to hit the trifecta for the city. In case you missed it because you were doing literally anything else on your Saturday afternoon, the Blackhawks announced a

Maksim Sokolovskii starts his pivotal season with a bang -
Maksim Sokolovskii is already showing off and proving some doubters wrong. When the Philadelphia Flyers selected the 6-foot-8 defenseman out of the London Knights at 27th overall a couple months ago, eyes were rolling from all over the fan base. It appeared that the Flyers just went back to their well of getting the biggest guy in the draft class to try and make the next Chris Pronger or just get all mean and physical again instead of trying to get a better team to win more hockey games. Especially when people hurried to Elite Prospects to then see that Sokolovskii scored a total of eight points in the OHL, it was natural to become disheartened and not really feel great about the pick. Flashbacks of Jay O’Brien and German Rubtsov and Samuel Morin and whoever else turned into a pretty
