RECAP: Pats Complete Perfect Pre-Season With Thrilling Overtime Win In Saskatoon -Saskatoon, Sask. — The Regina Pats capped off a perfect preseason Saturday night, overcoming a wild third-period finish to defeat the Saskatoon Blades 7-6 in overtime at SaskTel Centre and finish the exhibition schedule with a 7-0 record. Cohen Klassen scored twice, including the overtime winner, while Logan Henry added two goals and Liam Pue recorded three assists to lead the Pats offensively. The Swift Current Broncos wrapped up their 2026 preseason Saturday night in Shaunavon, falling 3-2 in a shootout to the Medicine Hat Tigers. The two teams battled through a scoreless opening period, with Medicine Hat holding a 15-4 advantage in shots. Cal Conway stood tall in the Broncos crease to keep the game scoreless through 20 minutes. Swift Current opened the scoring just 1:48 into the second period. Newly acquired Josh Evaschesen kicked off the scoring with a power play goal at 8:20. The Medicine Hat native tipped home a shot from Ty Krooshoop to put the Tigers up 1-0. Brendan Rudolph recorded a hat trick and the Swift Current Broncos held off a late push from the Moose Jaw Warriors to earn a 5-4 preseason victory Saturday night at the Southland Co-op Centre in Assiniboia. Swift Current wasted little time opening the scoring, as Rudolph found the back of the net just 3:02 into the first period. Ty Meunier and Hudson Kowalchuk picked up the assists to give the Broncos an early 1-0 advantage. Rudolph struck again later in the opening frame, this time while the Broncos were shorthanded. Parker Rondeau set up Rudolph for his second of the night at 16:52, sending Swift Current into the first intermission with a 2-0 lead. Moose Jaw got on the board 5:56 into the second period when Luke Moroz cut the Broncos' advantage to one.
