Our 20’s – Cape Breton Eagles -
Throughout the summer, we’ll be looking back at the QMJHL careers of our 20-year-old players, who will be moving on to new opportunities next season. Today, we feature the graduating players of the Cape Breton Eagles. Lewis Gendron A seventh-round pick of the Sherbrooke Phoenix in 2021, Gendron returned to Magog in the U18 AAA ranks as a 16-year-old before playing collegiate hockey and earning a seven-game audition with the Phoenix at age 17. The following season, he established himself as a full-time QMJHL player, recording 23 goals and 44 points before being traded to Cape Breton midway through the 2024–25 season. Gendron saved his best for his 20-year-old season, posting a career-high 56 points, the highest total among the Eagles. The Sherbrooke native concludes his Q career with 145 points in 193 games, and should play for Concordia University next year. Félix Hamel Also a seventh-round pick in 2021, selected by the Drakkar, Hamel suited up for B

Where Every Nashville Predators Prospect Is Playing This Season -
The start of NHL training camp is right around the corner, not only bringing the Predators back to Nashville but a handful of prospects as well. Rookie Camp kicks off on Sept. 11, followed by the Prospects Tournament from Sept. 13-14 in North Carolina. Proceeding that is the start of training camp on Sept. 16. Nashville's first preseason game is on Sept. 20 against Tampa Bay at Benchmark International Arena. While a handful of prospects are hoping to crack the Predators roster, many are already set on where they'll be playing this season. The majority of the Predators prospects will be playing in the NCAA, 13 out of 25. Ryker Lee (Michigan State), Jack Ivankovic (Michigan), Miguel Marques (Maine), Jacob Rombach (Minnesota) and Teddy Stiga (Boston College) will all be returning to their college squads from last season, while the eight others are either entering their first college seasons or playing on a different team. 2026 Montreal Canadiens Top 25 Under 25: The Long Shots (55-43) -
Introduction The excitement each year when we do this project is coming up with an order for the top players in the organization, with new additions and great seasons from others shifting how relative value is viewed from summer to summer. But while we all fret over who to move into the top spots, voters also make their task of ranking a high number of players easier by shifting a few players to the lowest ranks to limit the options they have to mull over higher up. Each year we like to show the full list of players in the project, first looking at those outside of the official Top 25 Under 25 to show where everyone landed. The first reveal is a block of players who are viewed to have very little chance of making it to the NHL, but the group always includes some of the newer draft prospects that no one knows enough about to put them above those who’ve been in the system for a year or two. These are the first 13 of 55 players we’ll reveal in reverse
