The fans never got that big trade that seemed to be looming before the draft. We are now in the slowest point of the NHL’s year but trades still go down occasionally. Sabres rumors have died down too, even though a few have the team linked to kicking the tires on Kirill Marchenko of the Blue Jackets. He would be a huge addition to the team and an instant Alex Tuch replacement. He would also be costly. I’m guessing at least three good assets, with one of the young trio of forwards being involved, surely. The calendar is about to flip to August and we all know what that means, Blue and Gold fans.
