Danny Briere can’t make same mistakes Paul Holmgren did after Flyers’ failed offer sheet -
After a week of cautious optimism and hoping that the Anaheim Ducks would let Leo Carlsson fly the coop, the Philadelphia Flyers are right back where they were a week ago. Danny Briere ruffled some feathers with his offer sheet, and the Flyers are once again being talked about in NHL circles, but Philadelphia still lacks the first-line center that it desperately needs. The Flyers were being talked about in terms of offer sheets a few days before sending one to Carlsson, though, as the 14-year, $110 million contract that Shea Weber signed in Philadelphia, and the Nashville Predators subsequently matched, had just expired.

The CRAZIEST Career The NHL Has Ever Seen… -
Pavel Bure didn’t just play hockey—he attacked the ice at a speed the NHL had rarely seen before. With 437 goals in only 702 regular-season games, five 50-goal seasons, back-to-back 60-goal campaigns, two Rocket Richard Trophies, and one of the most unforgettable playoff runs in league history, “The Russian Rocket” built a career that still feels almost impossible. But behind the breathtaking breakaways and explosive goal totals was a career filled with controversy, heartbreak, contract battles, international pressure, and devastating knee injuries that forced one of hockey’s most dangerous scorers out of the game far too soon. In this documentary, we explore the complete story of Pavel Bure—from a six-year-old boy who could barely stand on skates in Moscow to becoming one of the fastest and most feared players in NHL history.
