Throughout the summer, we’ll be looking back at the QMJHL careers of our 20-year-old players, who will be moving on to new opportunities next season. Today, we feature the graduating players of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. Vincent Collard The third overall pick by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in 2021, Collard spent two seasons in Baie-Comeau before being traded to Moncton, where he truly blossomed. The big forward of 6'3" and 199 pounds recorded seasons of 57 and 52 points with the Wildcats, helping them capture the Gilles-Courteau Trophy in 2025. He was then traded to Blainville-Boisbriand where, after collecting 41 points as team captain, he helped the Armada reach the 2026 playoff semifinals. Collard’s 325 career games place him in a tie for 38th place in QMJHL history, and he amassed 197 points during that span. He will play for St. Thomas University in 2026–27. Maël Lavigne Lavigne was also acquired by the Armada in the summer of 2025

FLINT - The Flint Firebirds announced on Thursday that the team has signed defenseman Jude Bray to a Standard Player Agreement.  “I’m super excited and honored by this new opportunity in Flint,” Bray said. “It’s a privilege to join such a great organization, and I can’t wait to get going.” A native of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Bray was acquired by Flint in a trade with the Brantford Bulldogs on Jan. 1, 2026. Bray was originally drafted in the 10th round of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection Draft by the Kitchener Rangers. Bray spent the past two seasons playing for the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the BCHL. He had nine goals and 43 assists in 81 total games for Sherwood Park, including seven goals and 23 assists in the 2025-26 season in 31 games. NIAGARA, ONT. – The Niagara IceDogs have signed forward Stepan Stejskal to an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement. Stejskal was selected by the IceDogs in the first round, 25th overall, of the 2026 CHL Import Draft. The Czech-born forward spent the 2025-26 season with HC Davos U21 in Switzerland's U21 Elite League, where he recorded 34 points (17 goals, 17 assists) in 37 games. "Stepan is a solid 200-foot player with very good offensive abilities," said IceDogs General Manager Dale DeGray. "He is an accountable player who should be able to add to our offensive attack. NIAGARA, ONT. – The Niagara IceDogs have announced the hiring of Rosa Mandatori, CAT(c), as the club's new Head Athletic Therapist. Mandatori joins the IceDogs after spending the past two seasons with the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts, where she served as an Assistant Athletic Therapist. During her time with the organization, she was a member of the Argonauts' medical staff that captured the 111th Grey Cup championship. A 2023 graduate of York University's Athletic Therapy program, Mandatori also earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. By: Cameron Kelcey NIAGARA, ONT. – The Niagara IceDogs have signed 2009-born forward Will Mullins to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Mullins was selected by the IceDogs in the seventh round (132nd overall) of the 2025 OHL Priority Selection. The 17-year-old spent the 2025-26 season with the Kemptville 73's of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), where he recorded 16 goals and 36 assists for 52 points in 52 games. Mullins also received his first taste of OHL action last season, appearing in five games with the IceDogs after earning a late-season call-up. "Will is a shooter by nature who should be able to help in the offensive department, but also has no problem playing a solid 200-foot game," said IceDogs General Manager Dale DeGray.
