The Guelph Storm have acquired forward Owen Griffin from the Oshawa Generals in exchange for forward Mark Pape, goaltender Cruz Reznik, a second-round pick in 2027, a second-round pick in 2028 (via Sudbury), a third-round pick in 2027 (via Niagara) and a fourth-round pick in 2028. Silvertips sign Wyatt Bitz to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement - 
EVERETT, Wash. -- The Everett Silvertips have signed 13th-overall pick Wyatt Bitz to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Bitz, a 2011-born Saskatoon, SK native, spent the 2025-26 season with the Saskatoon Outlaws 15U AA where he recorded 18 goals and 35 assists for 53 points in 27 games played. He led all SAAHL U15 defensemen in points, and earned a 10-game call-up to the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA, where he had three assists. "I'm extremely excited to get picked by such an amazing organization," commented Bitz. "I can't wait to get started with the team and see what the future holds." The 6-foot-1, 157-pound blueliner posted three goals and 28 assists in 27 games played with the Saskatoon Generals U15 AA in 2024-25. Oshawa, ON. - The Oshawa Generals have signed forward Cole Mazzoni to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Mazzoni was a 9th-round pick (177th overall) of the Generals in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft before spending the majority of last season with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies 16U AAA, where he collected 79 points (46-33–79) in 61 games. The six-foot-two forward from Livonia, Michigan, also spent time with the US National Development team, suiting up three times in the USHL. “I’m super excited to sign with a first-class organization,” said Mazzoni. “I can’t wait to get started.”

General Manager George Burnett announced that Spencer Segriff has been named Head Equipment Manager for the upcoming season. “We are pleased to add Spencer to our staff,” said Burnett. “Spencer comes highly recommended and brings a wealth of experience from his time with two top programs.” For the past two seasons, the Courtice, ON native previously worked as the Assistant Equipment Manager with the Oshawa Generals. Prior to his time with the Generals, Segriff held the position of Head Equipment Manager for the Ontario Tech University Men’s Hockey Team for three seasons. “I am extremely honoured to be joining such a respected organization in Guelph,” said Segriff. “I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to the team during such an important season, and I cannot wait to get started.”
