OTTAWA – The Ottawa 67’s announced today that defenceman Brayden Jaravata has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club. “Brayden is a mobile defenceman who plays a tenacious, disruptive game,” said General Manager Jan Egert. “He is uncomfortable to play against and enjoys elevating the temperature of competition.” The Vaughan, Ontario native was selected by Ottawa 36th overall in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection. Jaravata spent the 2025-26 season with The Hill Academy U16 AAA, recording 12 goals and 28 assists for 40 points in 63 games. He also represented The Hill Academy at the OHL Cup, adding three points in four games. The defenceman is expected to continue his development with St. Andrew’s College during the 2026-27 season.

EDMONTON, Alta. –  OHL players and staff helped Canada claim gold at the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, as they defeated the United States 8-1 Saturday at Rogers Place. Guelph Storm forward Jaakko Wycisk capped Canada’s offensive outburst with a third-period goal, joining fellow OHL representatives Matthew Henderson (Kingston Frontenacs), Cooper McAslan (London Knights), Brock Chitaroni (Ottawa 67’s), Ryerson Edgar (Niagara IceDogs), Aleks Kulemin (Kingston Frontenacs), Charlie Murata (Flint Firebirds) and Cam Warren (North Bay Battalion) in helping Canada capture gold. OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67’s announced that goaltender Noah La Gambina has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club. "Noah is an athletic and highly competitive goaltender," said Ottawa 67’s General Manager Jan Egert. "He was a key member of the Don Mills Flyers' 2024–25 GTHL Championship team before continuing his journey at St. Andrew's College. Through both organizations, Noah has continued to grow under the tutelage of each program. We're excited he has chosen to take the next step in his development path with the 67's."
