Our 20’s – Baie-Comeau Drakkar -
Throughout the summer, we’ll be looking back at the QMJHL careers of our 20-year-old players, who will be moving on to new opportunities next season. Today, we feature the graduating players of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Adam Cavallin Cavallin, who holds dual Canadian and British citizenship, was invited to the Drummondville Voltigeurs training camp in 2024 after spending two seasons in the OHL with the Kingston Frontenacs. After a 30-point season in 57 games with Drummondville, he was traded to Val-d’Or in the summer of 2025, but only briefly passed through with the Foreurs, who sent him to Baie-Comeau after just six games. With 28 points, including 18 goals, in 47 games with the Drakkar, Cavallin concludes his QMJHL career with 61 points (36–25) in 110 games. He will join Maryville University in 2026–2027. Shawn Pearson A second-round pick of the Océanic in 2021, Pearson got a five-game audition in Rimouski in 2021–2022 before earning a full-time spo

Flyers prospect Spencer Gill eager to turn pro -
As the next season looms — just one month until the official opening of training camp — inflection points present, big and small, for team and players alike up and down the Flyers’ organizational ladder. Some have more to be made of them than others, and one of the players set to make a less perhaps slightly less publicized pivot is Flyers defense prospect Spencer Gill.  Gill, having just wrapped up his time playing in the QMJHL this past spring, is set to graduate up to the pros and make his debut with the Phantoms in just a few months’ time. And while, particularly for a defenseman, this will be a significant step up in the quality of his opponents, and in turn, the difficulty of his assignments, Gill is meeting that challenge with eagerness.

Our 20’s – Blainville-Boisbriand Armada -
Throughout the summer, we’ll be looking back at the QMJHL careers of our 20-year-old players, who will be moving on to new opportunities next season. Today, we feature the graduating players of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. Vincent Collard The third overall pick by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in 2021, Collard spent two seasons in Baie-Comeau before being traded to Moncton, where he truly blossomed. The big forward of 6'3" and 199 pounds recorded seasons of 57 and 52 points with the Wildcats, helping them capture the Gilles-Courteau Trophy in 2025. He was then traded to Blainville-Boisbriand where, after collecting 41 points as team captain, he helped the Armada reach the 2026 playoff semifinals. Collard’s 325 career games place him in a tie for 38th place in QMJHL history, and he amassed 197 points during that span. He will play for St. Thomas University in 2026–27. Maël Lavigne Lavigne was also acquired by the Armada in the summer of 2025

2026 Hlinka-Gretzky Cup : 5 QMJHL Players to Watch -
QMJHL fans will have plenty of reasons to look forward to the 2027 NHL Draft. It’s always tough to say 11 months before the draft, but for some of the league’s top prospects for this upcoming NHL Draft will be at the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup, in Edmonton, from Monday through Saturday, August 8 in Edmonton. Who should you keep an eye on during this U18 tournament, which will be broadcast on TSN and RDS? We suggest you five players to watch who are expected to turn heads during the upcoming QMJHL season. The 2026–27 season will be dominated by Alexis Joseph. Joseph will be one of Canada's standout players, but there will also be players to watch from other countries. Some european players were notably selected during the Canadian Hocke
