The Moose Jaw Warriors are excited to announce that Doctor Brennen Wray, Joey Perricone, and the Warriors Golf Committee will be inducted into the Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame on Friday, November 27, at Temple Gardens Centre. From San Juan Capistrano, California, goaltender Joey Perricone joined the Warriors in the 2003 – 2004 season. We went on to play five seasons in a Warriors’ uniform, suiting up in 211 games, and finishing with a record of 93-79-12-8, with a 3.05 GAA and a .903 SV%. He played in 30 playoff games and went 14-13-1, with a 2.82 GAA and a .915 SV%. In the 2006 WHL Playoffs, he went 12-9-1 with a 2.44 GAA and a .915 SV%, was part of the Warriors' first-ever Eastern Conference Championship team, and was named Eastern Conference Playoff MVP. Perricone is the Warriors' all-time leader in games played by a goaltender (211), wins (93), and playoff games played (30), and ranks second in playoff wins (14). The most recent Videotron Player of the Week in the QMJHL is winger Alexey Vlasov of the Victoriaville Tigres. The 18-year-old from Chelyabinsk, Russia scored six times and added an assist as the Tigres went a perfect 3-0-0-0 on the week. On Wednesday night at home, Vlasov came out firing. By the end of the first, the second-year forward had a pair of goals. By the end of regulation, he’d scored twice more. By the time the game was over, the Tigres had emerged with a 6-5 overtime triumph over the Charlottetown Islanders. It was Vlasov’s first four-goal game in the ‘Q’ and made him the obvious choice for first star on the night. On Saturday night in Baie-Comeau, Vlasov couldn’t find the back of the net, but his lone assist in the game proved vital. Regiment Repeat 3-2 OT Win Over Huskies -ST. JOHN’S, NL — The Newfoundland Regiment took down the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in a 3-2 overtime win for the second straight day on Sunday afternoon at the Mary Brown’s Centre. Charles Laforest opened the scoring for the Huskies once again, this time 11:07 into the contest. After Maddex Marmulak replied for the Regiment seven minutes later, Jayden Pominville restored the visitors lead on the next shift to make it 2-1 Huskies after 20 minutes. Matthew Frost found an answer for Newfoundland nine minutes into the middle frame and from there neither team had a reply, sending these two into overtime once again this weekend. Marmulak wasted little time in 3-on-3 play setting this game as his second of the night 26 seconds into overtime sealed a 3-2 Regiment victory. 2026-10-04 It's almost becoming a given that the Mooseheads will end up in an overtime battle on a nightly basis after the team went to yet another extra period on Sunday in a 4-3 loss to the Sea Dogs in Saint John. The Herd have now played six games in the QMJHL season and they have gone to OT in five of them. Unfortunately for the Mooseheads, they lost both of them this weekend in New Brunswick which included a 4-3 defeat in Moncton on Friday. Box Score Mateo Nobert opened the scoring in front of 2,119 fans at TD Station on Sunday and Halifax got off to a solid start in the opening few minutes before things got rocky for the visitors later in the period. 2026-10-02 The Halifax Mooseheads and Moncton Wildcats met in another entertaining game on Friday night at the Avenir Centre as the teams have now gone to overtime in both of their early season matchups. Mooseheads Captain Owen Phillips beat the buzzer in regulation by blasting home a shot right off the draw with just 2.4 seconds to play in the third period to help Halifax tie the game 3-3 and force the extra period. The jubilation was short-lived though as former Moose Liam Kilfoil quickly ended the game just 16 seconds into OT with an individual rush to win it for Moncton. The victory ensured that the Wildcats remained the QMJHL's only undefeated team with a 5-and-0 record to begin the year. New additions, returning core lead Sea Dogs into 2026-27 -A new season has brought new expectations to Saint John. After a young Sea Dogs team took strides throughout the 2025-26 season, Saint John entered the new campaign looking to build on that progress with a revamped roster, a new head coach and a returning young core ready to take another step forward. A busy offseason brought 12 new players to Saint John as the Sea Dogs reshaped their roster for the 2026-27 season. Among the new faces are high-end prospects, proven QMJHL players and two European forwards selected in the 2026 CHL Import Draft. One of the most anticipated additions is winger Jamie Glance, who arrived in Saint John following two seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program. Glance led the USNTDP U18 team with 56 points (23 goals, 33 assists) in 62 games last season and is a highly regarded prospect for the 2027 NHL Draft. Glance has made an early

Regiment Blank Mooseheads 6-0 -ST. JOHN’S, NL — The Newfoundland Regiment blanked the Halifax Mooseheads in the rematch as they bounced back with a 6-0 victory on Saturday night at the Mary Brown’s Centre. After settling for a single point on Friday in a 4-3 overtime loss, Newfoundland took no time to get on the scoresheet on Saturday as Alexis Michaud opened the scoring just 3:30 into the contest. Tyson Goguen and Matthew Frost got in on the scoring before the midway mark of the opening frame before Michaud added a second before the first intermission to make it 4-0 Regiment thru 20 minutes. The latest Videotron Player of the Week in the QMJHL is Rouyn-Noranda Huskies goaltender Alexandre Raymond. The 18-year-old from Sherbrooke, Quebec helped the Huskies sweep their weekend slate of games by going 2-0-0-0 with a shutout, a 0.50 GAA and a .977% save percentage. On Friday night at home, Raymond got off on the right foot in his first appearance following time in NHL training camp with the Colorado Avalanche. The sophomore netminder steered aside all 24 shots he faced as the Huskies defeated the Drummondville Voltigeurs 6-0. It was Raymond’s third career QMJHL shutout and made him a worthy choice for first star of the game.
